AI scheduling tool pricing compared: best value by tool type

Several different physical scheduling tools—a tabletop calendar, a clock, a booking card and an envelope—set on equal ceramic plinths with modest teal coin stacks for value comparison.

By 3Gen editorial team. Prices checked on each vendor’s page.

“AI scheduling” covers three kinds of product, priced in different ways. We compare them on what you pay, then on what you get for it.

Quick picks. Best AI assistant when scheduling is part of a bigger job: OpenAssistant, because it handles email, research, meeting prep and calls, and its Coordinator Mode lets scheduling staff run it for someone else. Lowest-priced email scheduling assistant: Skej Pro. Cheapest booking links: Cal.com. Cheapest calendar optimizer: Reclaim.

Cheapest by kind of tool

Ranked on list price for the entry plan that does the job, plus the limits and features the vendor documents.

Booking links: Cal.com. The free plan has unlimited event types and calendars for one user. Calendly’s free plan allows one event type. For teams, Cal.com Teams is $12 a user a month yearly; Calendly Teams is $16.

Calendar optimizers: Reclaim. Starter is $10 a seat yearly ($12 monthly), against Motion’s $29 yearly ($49 monthly) for an individual. Motion also does project management, so the price covers more than scheduling.

Email scheduling assistants: Skej Pro, with Town Starter close behind. Skej Pro is $15 a user a month on yearly billing, or $19 monthly, with no credit cap shown, and its pricing page lists scheduling, rescheduling, follow-ups and time zone handling. Town Starter is $15 a month on monthly billing (it has no yearly option), so it undercuts Skej monthly and matches it yearly, but it is capped at 1,250 credits a month and its routines run on a daily schedule only. Calendly’s Callie comes in Standard Plus at $18 a seat yearly ($24 monthly). Howie is $25 a month for a credit-based plan. We make Skej, so weigh this accordingly; the ranking rests on the list prices, limits and features the vendors publish.

OpenAssistant (ours) is the pick for scheduling plus the rest of the job, not the cheap choice for scheduling alone. Its entry paid plan is $60 to $72 per user a month. It schedules, and it also handles email, research, meeting prep and calls, as do broader assistants like Lindy. If scheduling is all you need, Skej, Town Starter or a booking link costs less.

What the entry plans include

Skej Pro (ours): email scheduling assistant, unlimited booking links, Skej branding removed. Skej’s comparison table shows scheduling, rescheduling, follow-ups, time zone handling, and texting and WhatsApp on Pro and above. Premium adds custom assistants, unsupervised (Bcc) mode and team admin tools.

Howie Team: an email scheduling assistant with an iMessage agent, calendar audits, briefings and reminders, unlimited teammates and a shared credit pool. A custom assistant email at your domain is $20 a month extra.

Calendly Standard: unlimited event types, multiple calendars, automations and reminders, payments. Calendly’s own email assistant, Callie (beta), comes with its Notetaker in Standard Plus at $24 a seat monthly or $18 yearly, and Teams Plus at $32 or $24.

Cal.com Teams: round-robin, collective events, routing forms, branding removed. Cal.com also sells Cal.ai, an AI phone agent for booking, reminder and follow-up calls, at $0.29 a minute (cal.com/ai).

Reclaim Starter: up to 10 seats, 10 AI agents per seat, 8 weeks of scheduling range, 3 calendar syncs and 3 scheduling links.

Motion Pro AI: AI calendar and meetings, projects and tasks, docs, and 7,500 AI credits a seat a month.

OpenAssistant Pro (ours): 5,000 credits a month, an assistant email at your domain, shared assistants and recurring tasks. Its FAQ says coordinating a meeting across several people uses “hundreds” of credits, and its Coordinator Mode is a live feature that lets scheduling staff run OpenAssistant for someone else (help center).

Per-meeting cost

Dividing the monthly price by the meetings you schedule turns these prices into something comparable. We did that, with all assumptions shown, in what it costs to have AI schedule a meeting. At 20 meetings a month, Skej Pro works out to $0.95 a meeting on monthly billing and Calendly Standard to $0.60.

A tool that is gone: Clockwise

Clockwise’s site says the product “will no longer be available starting on March 27, 2026” (getclockwise.com). If you are moving off it, Reclaim and Motion are the closest kinds of tool in this table.
