AI email assistant pricing compared: what each one costs

Three elegant envelope organizers each holding drafted reply cards, beside different teal coin stacks and a fountain pen on an unmarked comparison ledger.

AI email help comes in four shapes, and they are priced very differently:

Lindy pricing check: The pricing page shows a $49.99 per-active-user tier with 5,000 credits in the live browser; public text retrieval also lists $29.99 for 3,000 credits. Confirm available tiers at signup. Cost examples retain their stated credit bundle.

Best pick if you want more than email: OpenAssistant. Its pricing FAQ says it monitors your inbox, handles email back-and-forth, schedules and preps meetings, and Pro adds an assistant email address at your own domain. It is not the cheapest here, and the cheaper picks below win if you only want email drafting or sorting.

Fyxer Pro ($37 yearly, $49 monthly): drafted replies in your tone, automatic labeling and inbox sorting, meeting recording, and a follow-up list. 3,000 credits a month after a 3-month unlimited launch offer.

Lindy Team ($49.99): inbox management and replies drafted in your voice, plus meeting notes, scheduling and daily briefs; 5,000 credits a month, 2 to 5 connected inboxes depending on plan.

OpenAssistant Pro ($60 per user a month yearly, $72 monthly, ours): an assistant that monitors your inbox, handles email back-and-forth, schedules and preps meetings, with 5,000 credits a month and an assistant email address at your domain. Email is one part of what it does.

Cheapest picks

Ranked on list price for the entry plan only.

  1. Cheapest AI in your inbox: Google AI Plus at $4.99 if you use personal Gmail. On a company Google account, Workspace Business Starter at $7 a user yearly includes Gemini in Gmail.
  2. Cheapest inbox filtering: SaneBox Snack at $5.42 a month yearly, or $4.54 a month on its 2-year plan (billed every 2 years, so you pay two years up front).
  3. Cheapest dedicated AI email client: Shortwave Pro at $18. Superhuman starts at $25 yearly.
  4. Cheapest drafting add-on for Gmail or Outlook: Fyxer Pro at $37 yearly.

OpenAssistant is the most expensive entry plan in this table. If email drafting and sorting is all you want, the options above cost less. Broader assistants like Lindy and OpenAssistant make more sense if you also want scheduling and meeting prep from the same tool.
